For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer.  5Then I acknowledged my sin to you, […] and you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Let us pray:​

God of tenderness, we come before you, asking you to forgive our sins. May we rejoice again that you free us from the wretched prisons of our trespasses and set us free into the paths of righteousness. Amen.
